About Roopa Belur
My primary responsibilities include autism diagnostic assessments and IQ and achievement tests administration. My primary focus is working with children, adolescents, and adults on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities. Other areas of focus include psychoeducation of the diagnosis to help tailor supports and strategies that would be adapted based on the individual’s strengths, needs, and wellbeing. I view Autism as a different style of learning and understanding the world around them and use this framework to interpret and understand their challenges and work on interventions.
I also work with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds coping with emotional and mental health concerns. I use a collaborative approach by listening to everyone’s unique journey and helping individuals capitalize on their strengths to work on their goals. I use Strength Based therapeutic techniques such as CBT tailored to each individual
