Healinn consists of a team of strong BIPOC Women who have faced the societal struggles of being both BIPOC and women. Being members of the BIPOC community has caused us to come face to face with racism (in its multiple forms). We have felt the pain, anguish, and isolation that racism causes where you are left with nothing but the question, “Why am I the way I am?” This powerlessness is something we hope to combat.
We at HealInn hope that no member of the BIPOC community is left questioning their identity. We want to outstretch a helping hand to support those who want to start their journey of Healing to allow them the opportunity to be our strong and confident leaders of tomorrow.
BIPOC, which stands for “Black, Indigenous, and People of Color,” is a person-first language. It enables a shift away from terms like “marginalized” and “minority.”

Through the three pillars, Healinn offers, we wish to create an enlightened society where members of the BIPOC community are ready to ask for the help they need from professionals who are there to help them.
